"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We happened to visit shortly after the election, and learned from a local restaurant that many businesses had chosen to board their doors and windows (I guess Portland got crazy in 2020). However this did not detract from our experience. There is plenty to walk to and enjoy in the area. We particularly loved St. Honoré Boulangerie just up the street, along with Powell’s a few blocks beyond that. We are generally city folk who enjoy walkability. We did have a car...

"We like the location, next to our son's apt. The atmosphere was very cool and charming. Old school elegant charm. Restaurant was part of the property. What we didn't like was too much street noise.The hotel provided ear plugs which solved the problem. Next time we will get a room higher off the street or interior room. "
