"Hotel Abode is located in the heart of Canterbury on High Street its main thoroughfare and within walking distance of most major sights and great dining. The breakfasts at the hotel were excellent. The staff was polite and very responsive. A great stay!"

"Like most, it was for the night prior to travelling on the ferry. We did not expect much but were pleasantly surprised. High standard and professional throughout. Great location for a quick drive to the ferry. Very happy."

"This hotel was acceptable for the price, it is very tired looking and dated, the breakfast was good with a choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, natural yogurt, toast, fresh coffee, tea, orange juice, full English, croissants, ham and cheese baguette. We didn’t try the food at other meal times. There was a full bar which was reasonably priced. Lift to all floors. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially the waitress at breakfast, unfortunately I don’t recall her name but she was the small one with glasses, she was always welcoming and very helpful."
