"Lovely hotel, room was a nice size. There was a mini fridge in the particular room type I selected which was nice. The hand soap and body wash that they provided smelt amazing and the bed was very comfortable."

"This hotel was excellent. The staff were delightful, everyone very friendly and very helpful. The hotel had all of the amenities you would need bar a fridge in the room as other reviews have mentioned. This wasn’t an issue for us though, they give you milk in a thermos at the bar. The room itself did look a little tired in places but it’s a 3-star hotel so that was okay with us. That being said, it was very clean and comfortable which is what matters most. I would advise check booking through the hotel website directly, they do deals and I suspect I may have gotten the room cheaper directly than through Hotels.com, rookie mistake by me but it is what it is. Overall a great hotel made even better by its staff."

"The room was very large. Lots of space and the bed was comfortable. Needed some extra pillows. Quiet. Good price and well placed for accessing Southend shopping and theatres. The carpets in the room could do with being replaced as many stains."
