"The service was great - the folks who work there were nothing but nice and helpful. However, the room we booked was bare bones, the towels were clean but permanently stained, the shower and bathroom had someone else's stray hairs, and you could hear basically everything happening on the floor. Ultimately, I felt our room was super over priced for what we got ($100 US all in) but it was a Saturday night in Tulum and we booked the same day. If it was $45 instead $85 I wouldn't complain. "It was in a perfect location. Close to all the action but at the same time felt very safe. I was surprised on checkin to find out that the room included a beautiful breakfast every morning. The bed was so comfortable. Nice bedding. Great service. Would highly recommend it. I stayed there for a week. "

"This was a star pick on lonely planet guide but it was third world; no hot water, very poor condition of room, no facilities and bad finish of floor and walls. Only saving grace was a nice breakfast. Probably our worst stay in Mexico."
