"The staff is very friendly and able to communicate with by text/phone. The building is secured at night. There is a juice/coffee bar conveniently located downstairs. The pool located upstairs on the rooftop is very clean & private. The building is located within 2 blocks of several great dining options and really great local bars with reasonable prices. "Thank you for the stay at the Heart of Tulum. William as the property manager was wonderful, very responsive. The location was good in that getting around was easy, however, the noise level from surrounding restaurants/bars was very loud and went on into the early morning hours. So if you do not mind the noise into the wee hours of the morning, this is a very central spot. The sofa was not very comfortable when sitting and watching TV. "

"Mimosa was a nice hostel / hotel in a really convenient location. Our private room was clean, the hosts were friendly and helpful, and the location was very near to cafes, shops, markets, etc… but not on the main road. The pool was down when we were there but it looks like they were fixing it. Also, there was a big storm when we were there. The electricity went out but they came around with candles which was really helpful! "

"For the most part a beautiful place, with an inviting warm pool and beautiful outdoor lighting at night. The ability to use the adjoing Bardo Hotel pool and restaurant was a plus. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished. Biggest downside was the plumbing. Any toilet flush in our or adjoining units caused a loud, prolonged, and startling gurgling in the sink of our kitchenette. Staff seemed unconcerned.
