The property is also right next to the train tracks, and the train goes by often and way into the night. "Great place to stay for a quick overnight in Interlaken prior to an early morning Jungfraujoch trip. We are a family of 4 and booked a quad family room. Great room, comfortable beds. The shower does not have a separate shower area so it was hard not to soak the whole room, but otherwise room was great. The fan was much appreciated on the hot day. We had an outstanding fondue dinner at the restaurant onsite. Great place to stay, would recommend."

When I was there there were a lot of families with young children and not a lot of young adults so it was not a very social hostel as a solo traveller, I do not know if it is always like this. "

"This location is a bit up the mountain (I'm sure it is fantastic for skiing but we visited in August). As such, it is away from the nutty tourist centre and the views are fantastic. The local bus service is super efficient and a brilliant way to get to the top if you do not want to hike the slope up. The flat itself is spacious and bright. It was amenable to self-catering, and had excellent laundry facilities."
