Youth Hostel Zermatt

2.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (176)
"This is only the second stay I've had in a hostel and it was a very nice experience. We ended up getting a room with its own bathroom and a view of the Matterhorn out our window. The room wasn't all furnished (e.g., TV) but it had everything one needed and was spacious for a hostel. The breakfast was as good as any other hotel we stayed at on our trip and saved us at least $40 franks both days. Getting to and from the hostel was easy enough while walking or riding the local bus (red line to...

"My mom and I traveled across Europe for almost a month, and this was by far our favorite accommodation. The property is in excellent condition and conveniently located within walking distance of the train station and Zermatt’s gondola rides to all major attractions. Dining options and grocery stores are also close by. The room is incredibly spacious, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table, and a cozy mini living room. It also has a relaxing patio with views of pine trees and the...

Legendär Zermatt

4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (17)
"This property is great and would have given it 5 stars but it literally requires you 'to hike' to get to the property from the street. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly."
