Hotel Indigo - Stratford Upon Avon, an IHG Hotel

4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (892)
"We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."

"This was our second visit to the barn and we loved our time there just as much. The accommodation is beautifully renovated with great attention to detail and spotlessly clean. The host is always helpful and responsive."

"We had a wonderful two days here using it as a base for sightseeing in Stratford and Warwick. The Welcombe Hotel, BW Premier Collection

4.0 star property

"Our go to hotel when we stay in Stratford. A historic hotel that oozes authenticity. Yes, it could do with a makeover in certain areas of the main building but these do not detract from the overall pleasantness of the stay. Excellent breakfast offering. If you plan to use the spa facilities then a small padlock is recommended to secure your belongings. Totally recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Stratford area. "

Mercure Stratford-upon-Avon Shakespeare Hotel

4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (1000)
"Room was large and clean, bed comfortable. Lots of glasses and room service trays in all the corridors. Hotel desperately needs refurbishing, no atmosphere or style to the place. Shame as a waste of a potentially beautiful building "
