"It was a beautiful older model hotel, alot of the original structure remains. TVs were outdated, my room could have been cleaner as there was hair left on the hair dryer & some on the sheets. One of the doorman Steve greeted us & was absolutely phenomenal & full of knowledge for our first time in Chicago. The food was ok, nothing to be excited about. The beds were pretty hard & rooms hot without a thermostat. Overall it was a decent stay."

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff was friendly, area was convenient and walkable, and it was an overall good experience. My only critique is the bathroom as there is no bathroom vent so after taking a shower the whole room would get very steamy. "

"Our overall stay was great. Didn't like they hold $150 day for incidentals and the $80 day parking charge. The hotel had no pool or room service. Everyone at the hotel was very nice. "

"Location of the hotel was excellent!! Walking distance with in minutes for dinning, attractions, theater, river and night life. The staff at the hotel was very friendly. "

"The hotel was nice with a coffee shop, restaurant on the lobby floor, and other bars on the rooftop and second floor. The check in and out was very fast. A very convenient location. "

"The RUI is conveniently located by shopping, dinning and all of the attractions you may visit in Chicago. The hotel is clean, the breakfast was great and the lobby bar was a nice place to relax. The room is very clean and has nice amenities. I would stay here again. "
