"We stayed in the luxury family room which was massive, we had four beds two at either end of the main room with a lounge, TV and seating area in between. The room has a large bathroom containing two different shower/bath options allowing two people to shower separately at the same time and a separate toilet. The hotel is only a short walk from Kyoto Station which contains many restaurants and food and transport options. I highly recommend this hotel, I would definitely stay here again."

The Princess Nikko is both charming, traditional (provide an actual door key!), The service standard and attention to customer needs is amazing and room size is absolutely huge (the washroom was almost as big as some hotel rooms we stayed at in Tokyo). The room gets daily cleaning and restocking, but the reception/concierge is not really present (they can be summoned with a phone call from the front desk).
