"Loved the decor & overall vibe of the hotel -- it was quiet and dimly-lit in a way that I found super relaxing. The staff was wonderful and made me feel really welcome. The rice porridge breakfast was delicious. It's a short walk away from Kyoto station, so getting around was a breeze. I liked the fact that it was a few minutes away from the more crowded, tourist-y bits of the city but still conveniently located. Great value overall, I'd book another stay in a heartbeat if I visit Kyoto again."
