"I had a wonderful stay at ALA Hotel Kyoto! The location is extremely convenient — it’s just a short walk from the train station and surrounded by plenty of great eateries. Having a convenience store right across the street was also super handy. One of the highlights of my stay was the onsen within the hotel — it was clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. "The things we enjoyed most about 22 Pieces was the size and design of the room and the helpful, friendly and efficient staff. We stayed in a terrace room which, complete with outdoor area, was very spacious for a family of 4. Also loved the modern design aesthetic of the room. Staff were excellent. A good location for first time Kyoto visitors doing the tourist sights but quite a long way from good restaurants and bars. Surrounding gardens are in need of some attention."
