"This is the second time staying at the Princess Nikko within about 1 year. The Princess Nikko is both charming, traditional (provide an actual door key!), The service standard and attention to customer needs is amazing and room size is absolutely huge (the washroom was almost as big as some hotel rooms we stayed at in Tokyo). "Just across the train station. Lots of restaurants around the area. The train sounds can be heard a bit but it does not bother me. The rooms are spacious (booked 2) for Japan standards. There is an ice machine and water refilling station on our floor (I believe there is one on every floor) Easy check-in and check-out. The staff were very nice. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Japan (this is my second visit to the country and have stayed in 3 hotels each time)."

"We stayed in the luxury family room which was massive, we had four beds two at either end of the main room with a lounge, TV and seating area in between. The room has a large bathroom containing two different shower/bath options allowing two people to shower separately at the same time and a separate toilet. The hotel is only a short walk from Kyoto Station which contains many restaurants and food and transport options. I highly recommend this hotel, I would definitely stay here again."
