"The minute we walked in into Fujiya Ryokan we immediately felt welcomed and relaxation commenced. Our host greeted us with a warm smile and some hot green tea. She even gave our 3 year old a little present on arrival too. This was the first time we have stayed in a Ryokan and to be honest, we were a little apprehensive regarding the sleeping arrangements but found the beds to be ultra comfortable! "The room was bigger than expected, with a coffemaker. It was nice to have high ceiling in the room. The location was very convenient, close to a JR train station and close to a supermarket. Also close to a public bath (sento). It was quiet at night, we had a good sleep. Very friendly staff. Also liked the bread and jams in the morning. Would stay there again!"
