"Good hotel near the station. Clean with good amenities, restaurant below with 7-11 next door and lots of restaurants nearby. Small room but that’s to be expected. Had enough to be comfortable to sleep and refresh when travelling. "

"The minute we walked in into Fujiya Ryokan we immediately felt welcomed and relaxation commenced. Our host greeted us with a warm smile and some hot green tea. She even gave our 3 year old a little present on arrival too. This was the first time we have stayed in a Ryokan and to be honest, we were a little apprehensive regarding the sleeping arrangements but found the beds to be ultra comfortable! Such an experience and one we would highly recommend for anyone visiting Kyoto. Located...

"The room was bigger than expected, with a coffemaker. It was nice to have high ceiling in the room. The location was very convenient, close to a JR train station and close to a supermarket. Also close to a public bath (sento). It was quiet at night, we had a good sleep. Very friendly staff. Also liked the bread and jams in the morning. Would stay there again!"
