"This resort is a peaceful oasis! The grounds are beautiful, staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, and the property is brimming with history. You could easily spend a day exploring the grounds and taking in wonderful views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. I stayed in a modern room which was spacious, clean, luxurious, and peaceful. The beds were comfortable, and the fireplace was a nice touch. Downtown Sausalito is an easy car ride away, and the hotel offers transportation....

"We had to fill a gap before our flight for two nights and this was a lovely spot. beautiful view from the deck, lovely patio, privacy and close to the market and coffee bar. And on the quiet end of the waterfront in Sausalito. Just fit two adults upstairs and one teen on the downstairs pull out. There are lots of stairs up, which was not a problem for us. Charming."

"I spent a month on the houseboat called “Salty Dog”. I had my 20 lb puppy, Tilly with me and a friend who is a professional pet sitter came and joined us a few times. Two things really impressed me. 1., the boat was superbly equipped as if ready for a long range voyage and 2. The neighbors were all Salties - creative, fun, and helpful. Proximity to everything from a grocery store , laundry and to a pub and a bunch of great local restaurants all within walking distance was great. Parking was easy...
