"I stayed for a week with two other friends. We really enjoyed our stay. Very walkable to Old San Juan and Balneario del Escambrón Beach (around 15 minutes each). There are multiple dining options (also walkable), but I recommend eating at Old San Juan. The only point of discomfort was that we could not throw toilet paper down the toilet, but that's because the pipes around Old San Juan are an older version. If that would be an issue, I would recommend finding a different accommodation in Newer San Juan."

"This is located on the picturesque street that used to have umbrellas but not has lights. It is very close to the governor's mansion, and the street is blocked off and guarded. But the police are very friendly and let you in and out easily. "
