The staff were friendly and accommodating. It's a bit of a hike uphill from the station but nothing someone moderately fit can't handle."

"We had the most incredible stay here while visiting Hakone. The location is ideal: a 2 min walk from the main train station and right on the river. Waking up to the sound/view of the river is just magical. The team working here is incredibly nice, hospitable and accommodating. We did the half board and the food was delicious and varied. We asked for our meals to be vegetarian and we were served the most beautiful kaiseki style spread in our room. A special thank you to Yuki who took care of us...
