"Lots of construction so dining experiences were limited and hard to understand. You had to wait in line to get any reservations. I was 5th in line - only reservation was at the 1 restaurant open at 9 pm. Went back in 2 hours and got a time at 7 pm. Arrived one day late due to airplance. They gave away our rooms. Were given new rooms after long wait. Arrived but both rooms were occupied. Had to really get assertive for appropriate service. Not what expected. Noticed other visitors...

"Excelent value for the price. Beautiful beach setup with chairs, beds and umbrellas. Very nice staff, good food, family oriented. Hotel is a bit outdated but kept very clean. Everyone tries to be helpful even that most of the staff dont speak English. I enjoyed beeing surrounded by the Mexicen families with very well behaved kids. Outside of the hotel is kept neet and tidy around the pool. I was just a bit disapointed by the end. We needed late checkout and I was ready to pay 1000 mx pesos...

"I am big fan of RIU and I use the ones in Cancun more. This one RIU Jalisco was good but not great. No waiters at the pool. The second day I stayed they didn’t bring me new clean towels. And also the sink and the wc were clogged. A bit disappointed of this RIU. Very probably I won’t come back to this one and I won’t recommend it to my traveler friends. "
