"Room was not good, we had no ac the whole time, called maintenance multiple times and they tried telling us it works fine. I own my own hvac company and they were lying to me. When calling for 21° and it doesn’t go down below 24.5° it does not work. He said turn fan on and that would help. Multiple calls made for this and no one cared or fixed it or changed rooms for us. Very disappointing, every night we could not sleep, the room are also very small and cramped for family of 4 "

"Everything overall was great. Friendly staff, yummy food. Loved the quiet pool… we spent all 10 days there. Lots of walking up/down which was okay for us. Hotel was stairs only. "This was our first time staying in Mexico and we chose the Samba based on friends who have stayed there before (they also joined us). "Absolutely beautiful hotel grounds and pool area. Plenty of comfortable chaise loungers and chairs in the pool area. Two smaller 'splash' pools, one longer pool. There were also two 'hot tubs.' "An excellent property, indeed. Location, included terrific on site food, a nice pool, comfortable beds, and a cozy boutique style. Loved the “Loteria” ( a popular Mexican bingo game), theme, free early morning Yoga, and a VIP complementary bottle of fine wine. But, the real stand out for me was the fantastic staff, including Luis, Adrian, Enrique, and Betsy, who did EVERYTHING to ensure me and my partner’s safety. comfort, and enjoyment. If something needed improvement, the staff did EVERYTHING to make it right. In fact, we left a couple of belongings in our room. With one call, our things were located, and the front desk sprang into action to get our items directly back home to us. That’s the definition of service to the customer ! The surrounding area provided everything a curios traveler could want, including great food, fun shopping, a gorgeous ocean, and that laid back Sayulita ambiance we all could use more of. I know that with such a glowing Expedia hotel review, Casa Sayulita will draw many new travelers, and that’s just fine with me, because this hotel deserves a ton of compliments! As for myself, I look forward to the next time I come to beautiful Sayulita and especially the soulful and caring staff which makes Casa Loteria, by itself, such a special hotel destination. "We loved our stay here, the cutest place with the nicest staff. AWESOME location in Sayulita, 5 minute walk to the beach and close to the center of town. As previous reviews had stated, it’s very noisy at night, but there is a fan in the room and if you have it turned on it really drowns out the noise and also keeps your room nice and cool, but that fan also has a super bright light which was more annoying to me than the noise from the town. Breakfast every morning was wonderful and delicious but I do wish they had a coffee maker in the rooms so if I wanted coffee in the morning I could just make it in my room without going to the dining area. Minor inconveniences though. Also, it should be noted that the property is on a hillside and might cause some difficulty for guests with mobility issues. We really had a great time and would definitely stay again!"

"I would definitely recommend, the staff it’s super nice, the location is amazing (On the Main Street), the room was simple but clean and functional, they have a big terrace you can hang in, they also offer free drinkable water (cold or hot). If you stay you need to try the tacos downstairs and the tiny restaurant right across the street (both are delicious) "
