"We had a good stay at Iberostar. The service was great! Beautiful grounds and mountain scenery all around. I will say that the breakfast and lunch options were not fabulous - only one place that served breakfast but lots of options. "It was great! Check in was rough and our room wasn’t ready WAY past when they said it would be and then when we finally got our keys, one of our two rooms for our family room hadn’t been cleaned. But other than that hiccup, it was a good vacay! "

"It was a beautiful place that needs some TLC. Maybe we just missed busy season but only a few guests there so it was a little spooky for my daughter not seeing anyone in this huge place. The very few staff members we saw were really nice but spoke little English so couldn't ask them much. That's ok since I was visiting their country and know basic Spanish. From a distance the pools look really nice but tiles falling off and not the cleanest, hot tubs half full with debris in them or closed...

"Went for our honeymoon and it was such a nice hotel. Just outside of the town the hotel and beach was super quiet and nice. Beautiful views from the rooms and pool. "Property is completely relaxing in the condo or common areas. Rooms are upscale even to USA standards. Aja Barbecue restaurant is delicious…brisket is awesome with beans, corn bread, slaw and banana pudding. Property also has coffee shop, steak house and Rip Curl Company store…LOVE IT!!!!"

"The property, to no fault of their own, was very noisy due to construction directly across the street which meant we could not enjoy the pool. The manager was not around a lot, I had a complaint about people in the pool after midnight, they were smoking and drinking until after 1am but the manager was not around to tell. I would stay there again, but I would google map the area to see where the construction was taking place."

"Marcel at the accommodations was fantastic. We realize it is a new property and he is continuously working on it. We stayed in the cabin/terrace overlooking the pool. It’s a very neat room, however no sound proofing in walls or doors/windows, since the walls are just boards and the doors/windows just screens. The resident gato is very friendly as well. If we returned to Sayulita, we would stay here again. "
