"The property is so cozy and clean, i want to hire the housekeepers that take care of the property because it is spotless!.Location is great, totally walkable to the downtown area. I love how everything ia provided from coffee and teas to the layndry area and sundry cleaning supplies under the sink, you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the creature comforts.My wife and I plan on returning to the area soon and will definitely be reserving this property again!"

"Worked really well for our family. Loved that the teenagers had their own space downstairs! Really responsive owner/manager. We slept with a couple of star wars characters. We really appreciated the heads-up about parking on the STEEP driveway. This property has a LOT of stairs. Definitely not ADA accessible. "

The #RedwoodSkywalk (Skybridge, walk in the clouds!) in Eureka is visible from our front window :)

"The accommodations were much better than we needed. The house was very clean, up to date, and quiet. As advertised or better. The roads to get there are rough and windy, but in my opinion, that’s a good thing. "

"This is a comfortable and nicely appointed house in a quiet neighborhood. There are thoughtful touches like a fan, extra bedding and towels and a well appointed kitchen with basic condiments in the fridge. We will definitely return on future visits. "

"The place was immaculate and everything was updated inside. Plenty of fenced in outdoor space if you had kids or pets. Great location, close to grocery and a couple of eateries and within walking distance of Sequoia Park. Would definitely stay here again."

" Centrally located and within walking distance to the zoo. We contributed to Eureka’s economy, went to some beautiful beaches and an art gallery. Left before the earthquake, thank goodness. "Five of us were signed up to do the Humboldt 1/2 marathon and 5k. We were so happy to find a house with 2 bathrooms as most listings in the area showed only one. We are an adventurous group and didn’t mind the trek to the house in the dark. For those less bold arrival in daylight might be recommended . "The house was located in a good spot for our trips to see the redwoods. It was very clean. There were good restaurants in the area. We enjoyed going just outside of town to a farm with a pumpkin patch. The only downside to the house was that there is not a good, comfortable chair to sit in and read. It would also be nice to have a chair in the bedroom. Instructions for the TV would also be helpful."

"We really enjoyed our relaxation on the beautiful deck overlooking the countryside. The home was well appointed with lots of space for all 7 of us. We were able to relax in the hot tub, fix a wonderful family meal and just enjoy each other’s company."

"I injured my knee the evening before I was to drive up to King Salmon, so was unable to enjoy Shell Cottage, and too late for any refund! I had stayed previously however, and it was lovely; hence my desire to return."

"The house was as advertised. It's a very large 4 bedroom home. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, glasses, etc. There were plenty of towels and the washer/dryer was a bonus. The street was very quiet and we felt very safe there. It was easy to get around Eureka from that location."
