"Great service, excellent food and the drinks offering was exceptional. Best I've seen in any hotel. Breakfast was decent too. Spa and gym facilities were excellent, loads of equipment. I had an executive room which was the best on offer. It was tired, not particularly clean either. Loads of dust behind the TV and there were stains on the bed runner. The door handle of the bathroom opened directly on to the edge of the shower glass, stupid design floor. Someone unknowingly opens the bathroom...

"Love coming back here, relaxed atmosphere, lovely homely rooms and great food. Staff always helpful and appear very happy in their jobs, always a good sign of a happy ship!"

"Chris and Val provided a great breakfast and conversation in the mornings and were very good to suggest routes and pathways to access the centre of town. The room was very nice. I would definitely stay with them again."

"Stayed two nights, friendly pub with good food . Staff were great, location fabulous. Rooms were clean and good shower, mattress a little lumpy but overall great value for money would definitely use again. "

Overall - decent hotel

I had an executive room which was the best on offer. It was tired, not particularly clean either. Loads of dust behind the TV and there were stains on the bed runner. The door handle of the bathroom opened directly on to the edge of the shower glass, stupid design floor. Someone unknowingly opens the bathroom door too hard and thats a disaster waiting to happen. Needs addressing urgently. Finally, the lighting in the car park is very poor. Extremely difficult to see where you're walking when moving from the gym back to the hotel. Aside from that, the stay was great. "
