"My partner had a good stay in that were close to the city and had all the facilities that we needed. The downside was that we had paid for a permit to park in the car park. However, we were not given the permit on arrival. We called and were told someone would be in touch and drop it off the following day. No one was in touch. It wasn’t nice worrying whether we were going to get a parking ticket during our two day stay. Luckily this wasn’t the case. "

"Pleasant accommodation close to university, with cooking facilities Accommodation was clean , warm and had everything we needed for our stay. Only issue is no on site parking but parking in nearby streets is possible (payable and maximum 5 hours) with a larger NCP car park within 5 minutes walk Would stay there again and would recommend for a short stay. "

"Very roomy flat , clean and tidy with all the amenities you would wish for. Good location with car park nearby and plethora of restaurants nearby. Make sure you ask for car park discount card. On the downside three seater settee for four person accommodation, dripping tap in hall bathroom . But on the whole really good place and would stay there again."

"Have stayed before, but this time the apartment was not as clean as before the floor was sticky, some of the sundries were missing. However, the office was quick to respond to put this right"

"Lovely property, felt property would benefit from some high visible strips on the outside staircase, outside door entrance. Everything else perfect, could find no fault with inside. I had such a beautiful stay. Spacious and welcoming accommodation. Loved having some basic amenities for me to help myself when i arrived. Great value for money, would highly recommend. Such a lovely stay. "

"First off when arriving at the property there was no onsite parking as advertised, there was parking to the rear which you would think were for there but was told it was private and was not anything to do with the property and told there was small parking bays just up from the front of the property which were on a public road and were all full, to me this is not classed as onsite parking, onsite parking is parking designated for the property and owned by the property. "I’ve stated at Upstairs at The Barn a few times now. Communication with the host is always brilliant and responsive but rarely needed as the property is immaculate and check in is super straightforward. "
