"Freshly refurbished, clean and tidy, decent shower with soap and shampoo provided, central location in the town. Not a huge room, but adequate for a few nights. No wardrobe, but there were a few pegs to hang stuff on, and a few small open shelves. Some noise from folks leaving the pub quite late, also traffic noise from the A5. I was worried about how to access the property, but instructions arrived by SMS mid afternoon and worked fine. "

"Our stay was amazing we took the grandchildren as we went to Reindeer lodge on the Saturday. The hostess left everything you might need and the horse came across to see us every day which the girls loved. There was only one fault which didn't affect our stay one of the keys to the french window didnt work and i forgot to let them know as it wasnt a problem because we just used the front door .We would definitely come back here again. "Brilliant stay in the heart of the town. Very modern, provides basic necessities such as shower gels and tea and coffees. The pub is just downstairs so any issues you can report to them. Keyless entry to the hotel and your room, very good value for money. "

The room was very quaint and comfortable and the price included a fabulous cooked breakfast. Only minutes walk from town so perfect for exploring Chester. Overall a little gem."
