"It is a longer walk to the town, but you have convenience of free breakfast and dinner dining on the property. I loved that it was the closet to the Cloud Forest - we walked to the ticket window! Wonderful garden views from our room. Very peaceful. Staff was very helpful in booking tours for us. "

"Lovely two-night stay at the lodge with dinner both nights. Clean & comfortable rooms (no view) and stellar service for all meals, breakfast and dinner. We did the takeaway breakfast one morning, which wasn’t great, but they had it ready for us a half hour earlier than they usually open, so…. All in all an amazing stay. We will definitely be back!"

The only reason I rated good versus excellent was due to occasional septic smells in the first floor bathroom and wait staff making a few order errors in the restaurant We enjoyed the sounds of the birds and brook outside of our room through open patio doors as the small deck did not accommodate furniture, and the massage I booked was excellent. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel with the suggestion...

"Beautiful location, stunning mountain views and the clouds just roll on in to your balcony. Walking distance to some cool places and restaurants. They have a good shuttle service to the forest. Only feedback is some of the staffs attitudes, 2 of the employees were helpful, friendly and kind. The rest seemed snobby and almost judgemental. Could've been 5 stars if it weren't for that. We were WELL AWARE of our checkout time, yet walked by the front desk and stated we are going to pack. 5 minutes...
