The staff was so accommodating and nice and even tried to look to extend our stay with them (even though we couldn’t because we already had another stay booked elsewhere). Most of the staff was fluently bilingual. The reception desk was very helpful at finding good local places. What a beautiful, unique place! I wish we could’ve actually enjoyed being here. "Quiet, beautiful. My kids were able to see agouti, coati, and all sorts of birds from our balcony in the mornings and the staff was very friendly and enthusiastic about teaching them about the animals. One of the restaurants had a great little nature walk below the terrace so the kids had a great time running around while we waited for the food, which was also delicious. The hotel was well located so most of the things we wanted to do in Monteverde were a short drive or even walkable. Would stay here again!"
