"This is a beautiful newly remodeled hotel. It is right on the beach with great outdoor and indoor areas to enjoy the view. If you are booking on the ocean side - you will have traffic from the outdoor hallways past your window and you will have the sound of the waves. You are that close to the beach. They hold a $250 damage deposit on each room - just be aware of that at check in. "

"First time to Monterey and booked this hotel and overall it was a good stay. Value for the money is great as you are in walking distance of a lot of places near downtown. Customer service was excellent in all areas, their on site restaurant was great and food was delicious! Room smelled a bit musty and felt “cozy” but was overall clean and I appreciated the indoor fireplace. It’s a good hotel and I’d recommend it!"
