This is a great place to stay for a quick trip to Monterey. The rooms are huge and seemed very clean. Had an easy check-in and check-out. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting the area again. Super close drive to Carmel and nearby shops, coffee, and cafe’s.

Room was modern. New everything...floor, bed with memory foam, etc. Place was fairly quiet, easily to get a good nights rest. Hot water in a quick manner, nice small fridge, no freezer section though.

It was a lovely old motel that has been recently updated. There was NO old smoke smell and the staff was great!

Love the small table for two has plenty of clearance from the bed. Along with the office chair desk and walk in shower. Spacious, only down side is if you're a light sleeper, the airport starts flights up about 6am, not very loud, say 3/10; white noise machine would mask it totally.

For a 2star motel it does the job. It was clean, tidy and pet friendly. Cost was also very affordable. However it has no sound proofing and you could hear everything in the parking lot and the ice machine through the wall. We also had some issues with our toilet continuing to run unless the handle was wiggled. I’d recommend to bring your own shampoo and soap.
