"Maria at the checkin was great, she arranged for us to be checked in the room asap, even though we were 3 hours early. Nice small resort with 9 rooms/Cabanas. Restaurant was really good, Joe and Danny will take good care of you. There are a few other restaurants options along the Maya beach strip within a few minute drive or 5 to 10 min walk. On calm days you can snorkel right at the end of the dock. Not coral reef, but lots of fish and starfish to see. "

"We had a great stay at Casa del Cafe Real. Staff was super friendly and Hotel was very clean in a good area of town, a few blocks from the main square. Only cons would be that the shower head had a small leak(drop nonstop) and the rooms are very spacious but with no place to seat. A small couch pr couple pf chairs to seat would be great! 👍 "

"This hotel is set in an old building but its quaint and well maintained. 24 hour front desk. Secure, included parking less than a block away. Within easy walking distance of the cathedral and all the restaurants and shops in Centro. The room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of choices on the TV, except CNN which would be nice for English speaking guests. It's available but not subscribed to. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel for its convenience and besides some road traffic...

"Awesome location on a pretty beach with surreal sunrises and moonrises. The location is quiet and restful. Our room was very practical with a small fridge, drinking water, and A/C.The shower was tiny with dismal water pressure. Breakfast was perfect for us. It consisted of some sweet bread, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and coffee with a tropical breeze and a wonderful view. We enjoyed the beach and took advantage of the free use of a kayak.
