"We were the only ones there (it's a small place with only 3 cabanas), and it was absolutely perfect. We found it on a whim after bailing on our other accommodations, as the town where we were was unbearably hot. When we drove up into the hills using the excellent directions they sent, we arrived to a cool breeze, a pool all to ourselves, very friendly service, and a spectacular view. Our only regret is that we didn't stay there in the first place! It's truly a hidden gem!"

"The farmhouse is OK. Host is very friendly and helpful. But the second night we didn't have hot water at all and found a pretty big scorpion and a tarantula on the wall and on the ceiling."

"Orlando and his family are such a beautiful hearted family. The animal experience and getting to know how the farm is worked was great. The class on how to make cheese, empanadas,bread and tortillas by Yolanda was amazing. We enjoyed so much that we cooked all day. The laughs will be remembered for life. "We had a great few days at Finga Manclar. The staff looked after us very well. We went full board and we had excellent local food. We also did most of the trips with Luis which were great fun - tubing, fishing, mangrove tour, waterfall, horse riding. Rooms don't have A/C but the fans were good. Make sure you bring plenty of beers and mosquito spray for sitting out on the veranda chillaxing.
