"This was my favorite place we stayed while in Costa Rica. Quaint cottage on beautiful grounds. Very quiet and peaceful, woke up to bird call. A short hiking trail on the premises. $10 to buy breakfast which we did not pay for but there was a nice breakfast area so I’m sure it would have been nice. There was a small coffee maker and fridge in the room so we made our own coffee and enjoyed it sitting outside on the porch. Highly recommend!"

"Great hotel for a great price. One of the few hotels I’ve stayed in where the pictures do not do it justice, the view from our mountain suite was amazing. The room was clean, spacious, and secure. The room doesn’t have A/C which threw us off at first but this is typical for the area as the cool mountain wind was more than enough for a comfortable stay with the windows cracked. The area around the hotel is surrounded by forest so it was extremely quiet and relaxing, calm enough even to see some...

"Very friendly front desk staff, provide all useful information. The room is very clean and can even see the volcano. Waiting up hearing all the bird churbing and that makes you feel so good. It’s like staying in the rain forest. Breakfast is included and you just need to drive 1-2 mins to the resort next door. All very convenient. The hanging bridge park is right next to the lodge parking. "

"Lovely relaxing place. Greeted at the airport first thing & a breafast table was ready waiting for us when we arrived at the hotel which was a great bonus. Especially when we left our hotel in San Jose at 04.30am. The staff were really helpful, friendly & spoke great english. The room was clean and tidy. "Such a wonderful experience traveling with family, young children and our service animal. The location is breathtakingly beautiful with its forestry natural landscape, wildlife in the trees (monkeys!) and opportunities to horseback ride all around the property, pueblito, and the beach. Stunning views and the only sad thing is we could not stay longer due to other plans, but we’ll be back here for sure!"
