"One of the very few hotels that in which you do not want to leave the room. However, given the unmatched proximity to the ocean and its amazing grounds and views this was unlikely. A truly special stay despite some rain and a mediocre kitchen. I would recommend this to anybody who loves nature and the awe inspiring coast of Northern California coast. American hotels are increasingly let down by the lack of staff. Also, they generally fail to offer any alternative to scrambled eggs sitting in a steam basin. Whilst excellent fruit, yoghurt and granola is satisfying it was disappointing to my Asian wife. A next station cooking fresh breakfasts would have been perfect.
