"Bed was definitely not a real standard King bed it felt like a double bed and was told it was a king when I called to confirm it after double checking my booking and it in fact saying it was a King I booked, but I measured it and was definitely a double bed which is smaller than a Queen for those who don’t know. Other than that it was walking distance to other places and had a lot of public transportation nearby. "

"I liked all the Christmas decorations and the staff was wonderful! Breakfast was delicious! Our room had coffee that previously spilled down the wall, a piece of popcorn on the floor and some pieces of plastic on the floor from previous person. Did not understand the switching of a used mattress while we were in the room and why that couldn’t be placed before we arrived or after we left. But overall enjoyed our stay. "

"We were really impressed with the room - very modern controls, nice bathroom, nice bed. Loved it all except 1. No HDMI access to the TV - had to use Chromecast which isn't as good. 2. Fairly strict 8-8 enforcement of kids..my kids were told to come out of the pool at 8pm so I was in the pool alone until 817 when the next adults came in...if they had let us stay until the next guests came in that would have been better..they did allow us early in the next day. 3. "We have stayed at the Corus the same weekend for the last 5 years. The service has always been good but the hotel is looking very tired once you move away from the reception area. We had a message to say that the hotel was closing the day we left for work to be carried out but it didn't say what the work would be. Hopefully it will be a refit. The breakfast this year was a let down. Not as much choice as usuall but we put this down to the closure. We use this hotel as we attend the Albert Hall...
