"Very nice hotel, attentive staff, particularly during dinner service. The room was comfortable & excellent spa facilities. The only down side personally was dogs in & around the hotel, but this seems to be way things are going now."

"The stay was great, staff are excellent. The room was lovely and clean, slight down was the walls were marked but everything that could be cleaned was spotless. I marked down as on our last morning there was no hot water, this was due to their boiler breaking down so not a fault of the hotel, the reception apologised and said that we were welcome to use the showers in the spa! But unfortunately it was freezing outside and it's a bit of a walk to the spa so a cold wash had to do!! Will stay there...

"Good clean basic hotel. Comfortable rooms. It’s a bit dated and furniture in rooms is tired but would stay again. All the staff I dealt with (reception, lady and a man) breakfast staff, room staff and bar staff were all friendly, helpful and lovely to deal with. "

"Everything during our stay was absolutely perfect. Room requests were met exactly, our dining option was amended to suit a last minute change of of plans, as was our spa booking. Every member of staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel, bar, restaurants and spa are exceptionally well kept and we'd love to stay again"

"We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were amazing very friendly and always helpful. The only negative was the bathroom was cold as the heated towel rail was not working and that was the only heat source in the room. It was January but did not spoil the trip."
