"We stayed here for 1 night as we toured around the local area. The room was spotlessly clean but very small with few power outlets, had we stayed any longer we would have struggled. Parking was onsite, no problems there. The complimentary breakfast was served at a separate location - I found there wasn't much choice as an egg intolerant veggie, ended up just having a buttered muffin. Still, it was better than nothing! Shops & places to eat nearby. A good pitstop."

"The location was perfect. A simple stroll to everything, but removed from the 'business' of the main street. The restaurants on site were superb."

"Staff was friendly. Jennifer very helpful. Room renovations were nice, but needs a new mattress. Great location for walking around Nelson. Hot tub jets didn’t work, and the water was yellow and smelled poorly. "

Travelodge by Wyndham Golden Sportsman Lodge

"We travelled with a pet at the end of October and had a lovely experience! We were initially a lityle skeptical / unsure due to the not-so-great rarings the place had but it turned out be a really good surprise - the room was clean, well appointed, spacious, had a lovely view and was clearly done up recently. The location was very convenient and close to town yet not noisy or busy and the breakfast was good too. The breakfast room was a little small so i can see why it may be a bit of a pain in summer but it can esaily be resolved by allowing patrons to take the food out / to our rooms"
