"We were in town for a quick visit with our daughter. This sweet floating home seemed like a fun way to stay in the area. It didn’t disappoint. It was small but mighty, having all necessities required for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, we used the pullout for my daughter and it was ok. It’s in a great location! Walking path right alone the water. A short stroll to the Quay, which is a great place for exploring and dining. We will definitely be keeping it in mind for another...

"We booked two float homes and loved every minute. Pearl was easy to communicate with and quick to answer questions. This was a rustic relaxing vacation. The float homes didn’t rock as crazy as I would have liked because Strawberry Island is on the inlet side of the ocean but they certainly rocked gently here and there. Cooking and heat are via propane but the houses have electricity and city water which tasted divine right out of the tap! The properties are dog friendly but don’t stink at all....

"Staying on a house boat with the mountains in view wnd the ocean air was such an adventure for this Prairie girl. The kitchen was a good size and having laundry was a huge bonus. The host was super easy to contact and helpful! There is is next door assistance for anything that may come up. "

"We were excited to stay on a boat again, as we had done in Boston and had loved it. Upon arrival, we noticed this boat was older, which i have no problem with, but it was dirty overall. We did not use the kitchen (which would have been great for just having breakfast in, at least). Coffee pot was at least 30 years old and looked it (we had one early in our marriage). The sponge in the kitchen was old and has hair on it. I found 2 orthodontic rubber bands on the floor, one by the dining room...
