"The staff at Oryx Hostel were very friendly and helpful. They offer great activities around Tulum everyday and you can rent bikes for an affordable price. It is also easy to get around town by foot or with collectivo. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the common outdoor space was enjoyable and peaceful. "Good hostel with nice staff"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hostel is in a good location, and the staff is awesome! There are a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. We had issues with our shower clogging up and our room flooded during a heavy rain. The area is definitely pretty loud, so beware if you’re a light sleeper. In the end it was a good value for the price, and I’d consider it for a future stay."

"we just stayed for one night at the Hostel in a bunk room that had a private bathroom and 3 beds, perfect for 3. It was a fabulous location, 1/2 block from the beach, 2 blocks from the ferry station and a block from the ado bus station - which is what we needed for an early airport departure. "Close to everything! Expedia was a bit confusing with the receipt saying the room was already paid for... It wasn't. Not a big deal, and definitely not Wabi Hostel's fault. Room is clean, awesome staff! There's a paid parking lot two buildings down. We would book again next time we are in the area. "

"We came for Thanksgiving week and had a marvelous time. One of our married kids had stayed here with friends before so we knew what to expect. We used the chef to cook one to two meals each day for us to make it so easy with young children. We also had massages lined up and loved it as we could put babies down for naps while we were able to be pampered. Hilton Playa del Carmen, an All-Inclusive Adult Only Resort

"There is so much positive I want to say about our stay at the Hilton Playa del Carmen. From the moment we arrived to the moment we got in the shuttle to leave. Thank you all the hospitable staff I cannot remember the name of all: Alejandro at the pool, Ruben at Pelicanos, Yolanda and Aldo at M. Patrona. Lili and Fernando for the pictures. The lifeguard to cleaned up the scrape/cut I got on my leg when I slipped by the pool. Thank you to the whole entertainment team! Water aerobics, water spin— the FOAM party was the best!!! The gym was clean and well organized probably the best workouts I’ve gotten all year! Thank you to the caballeros at La Mejorada bar! Thank you to the senoritas at Aromas cafe- always smiling and always welcoming. Thank you to Lili for being our housekeeper when we needed a little cleaning up. Thank you to the guys at the bar at Kalamata who were always checking on our drinks by the pool. I’ve been to Playa before and stayed somewhere else. I’m in love with the city and now I’m in love with this resort. We were never ignored, always well cared for. The food was delicious!! We loved it so much we plan to return around the same time next year and hopefully extend the stay. Thank you HILTON! "

"This resort is under rated. For us this resort is a 10 ! We have been traveling to Cancun since 1990! This resort experience was the very best. The food is outstanding and the property is impeccable. They were booked and it did not feel crowded. The staff was so kind especially Rapheal who was our concierge! I had a heart attack the last day of our visit and the staff was phenomenal We can not thank them enough!"
