" Booked this property last minute, got on a flight down there, took a taxi to the property only to find out they canceled the reservation. I never received any notification and it took me contacting them to have them tell me they cancelled it. Here we stand, a family of 5 with no place to stay. Had to take a taxi back to the airport and get booked on the soonest flight back home. I would not recommend staying here, and Expedia was no help either, all they said was “sorry for the inconvenience”. "

"The property itself was awesome, very clean and safe. The concierge and staff were very responsive and very helpful. We booked too late for the chef service though, so I'd inquire about that before you book, as we had to hire a driver for meals and there is nothing close, as you are remote at this location, even just to get to the beach you have to drive. But overall a great experience!"

"I have been coming here for many, many years. The hotel and grounds are immaculate. Housekeeping is great! The staff is unfailingly polite and helpful; always ready with a smile and kindness. I recommend Playa Palms without hesitation.The beach is lovely, and always clean with umbrellas and palm trees for shade for the loungers and Adirondack chairs. Very quiet at night. Very peaceful.
