"The Pines is a great place to stay. The scenery and if you get a cabin that’s backed up to the woods is awesome on the grounds. Have a lot of great amenities. Also been there twice in the last month and we are looking to go back here shortly again for another short, stay close to town and little town of idyllwild is a great little place to walk around"

"Very nice and cozy room. Super convenient location right in the village, yet off the main busy road. We could easily walk to everything. Loved the fireplace. Walls are thin but it was still quiet and peaceful. Worker who checked us in was very nice and let us check in an hour early. Only minus would be bathroom and shower is very small. I'd stay here again."

"This was a studio cabin. It is located beside the host’s home. I needed to talk with him about the tv. I could not reach him so I knocked on his door. He was not home. I drove into town to get a connection. I have not had a response. I needed to turn the wifi off to use my devices. No tv not good wifi. Squeaky bed and broken hanging porch chairs mentioned in other reviews were not fixed. No instructions at all for air conditioner nor fireplace or using tv. No phone number was given for host. ....
