"Overall, we have a good stay. Lots of free on site parking. Check in was easy but the room was quite far with lots of up and down stairs). The room itself was fine, nice to have snacks. Could have been a bit cleaner and the TV was tiny. The bathroom was good but the shower screen is too small so water would drip outside of the bathtub onto the floor. Breakfast was generally good with a reasonable variety of options. We enjoyed the pool, steam, sauna and jacuzzi but were disappointed to find...

"Our room was very good, although water pressure was very low. (Room209) However our friends had a room that had not been updated and that was markedly dated and ill-equipped. They had only one chair in a double room.(Room 230). The staff were always efficient and attentive with good sense of humour. Breakfast was excellent. "

"Stayed in a four poster room at the side, do reasonably quiet. Room quaint, bathroom spacious with waterfall shower. Pub historic and cosy."
