"We've stayed at the Anelli a few times now. As frequent visitors to Southport, we have found the Anelli to be quite possibly the best hotel on offer in it's price range. We always book the superior double room, which is spacious, clean and airy, with an excellent en-suite. "We can’t say enough about this wonderful B&B with its amazing hosts and incredible home cooked breakfast. We truly enjoyed Cliff’s and his family’s hospitality, as well as his very dry sense of humor. The B&B is in a great location, close to the water and the main thoroughfare , and Southport is a very pleasant and charming place. "When we arrived we were greeted as we parked up and our bags were taken to our room which was on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and fresh. We were given a time for breakfast with a variety of options. Food was delicious, hot and well presented. The owners were always available until 7pm and very helpful about where to go if eating out or wanting entertainment. We would definately recommend and stay again however as sisters in our 70's we would ask for a room on the lower floor."

"On checking in we were not told that there would be no housekeeping on Saturday or Sunday. We had tiny bottles of toiletries between two for 4 days. Tea/ coffee service was there but the cups were not changed every day and we ran out of supplies. And bed was not made Really bad value I’m afraid. "

"The accommodation was not too bad, as we only paid £56 for one night There was an extra bed as we requested, the double room.was actually very spacious the only negative was it was Saturday night and we could hear the noise from the bars next door. But beds were comfy, roo. Was clean. The shower had no.power though, the force of the water.was dreadful, but again, for one night it did the job. Overall not bad at all for the price. Nice and close to everything too."
