"Beautiful luxury resort with everything one could want for a tropical vacation."

"Decent hotel. Private beach good for families with kids. Good location by the city center and close to airport Downsides: exorbitant parking fee of 35$ and destination tax of 22$ which adds up. The hotel luau (island breeze) was quite expensive but Food at island breeze luau was bad. "

"Overall, the property is wonderful. The rooms are cozy and well -decorated. We appreciated the microwave, refrigerator, coffee amenities and the hot tub. I gave a 4 for staff and service because we arrived at 3pm for check-in and no one was available to check us in or answering the phone. I communicated that we would be arriving during the check-in time slot. We planned to dash into the park to see the Kilauea eruption upon arrival. Other than that- communication was great during our stay. "

"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. "
