"We really liked that they are self-sufficient, they produce their own electricity using the waterfall in the picture. There we can grab bananas from trees, the dining terrace has a nice view of the waterfall and lush vegetation around. We missed (a little) an air conditioning system in the room and it is hard to get there without a rental car. All in all a very pleasant stay."

"Our first time in Hawai’i, and this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Surrounded by lush forest and secluded, it was the perfect getaway. "The property is gorgeous, all the common areas are clean and beautiful. Lobby and the view as you walk in is like a painting. Staff will go out of their way to help, and are all super nice and friendly. This is Hawaii, so everything is expensive, and this hotel very much fits the bill. $50 breakfast buffet per person and $25 mixed drinks at the outdoor bar. My one real complaint is the resort is seriously lacking a good espresso machine and someone who knows how to use it, remedied by a coffee...
