"The staff is excellent. There is renovation going on in one of the towers but no one was staying there. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant and bar menu was good but a bit pricey for someone used to Midwest prices. The open air restaurant, bar and lobby were interesting for me, coming from a region that’s gets fours seasons. I was told the temps are pretty steady at this facility. Don’t worry, the hotel rooms have walls and a spacious balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal Kona Resort."

"The hotel was very nice. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Parking is easy. We had an ocean view room and the bathroom was larger than normal and the bed faced the ocean….lovely! The fitness center and the spa were both fantastic. The pools and the grounds were well done, and the beach is a short walk through the ponds. Overall very nice property."
