"The cottage itself is the second story of the two-story unit. The inside is very attractively decorated Hawaiian beach motif. It hadeverything you could need in a beach apartment with chairs, towels, umbrellas, body boards, etc. masks fins. snorkel. The apartment itself is a bit of a sauna, it’s soaks in that sun and with the humidity of the beach it is very warm and sticky. The owner has yet to fix two windows that would allow more Breeze into the apartment, I really hope she fixes them now...

"This property is situated right next to Wailua State Park and across from Wailua Beach and minutes from Lydgate Beach Park. Immaculate and well- maintained. It was noisier than I expected due to traffic and bridge construction but very cute garden where you can sit outside"

"The host communicated from right after I confirmed our stay. She responded each time I wrote a message and was very helpful and informative. The place was a bit deep in the volcano area and we were very happy with the quiet and privacy. The house was amazing, clean, comfortable and very accommodating. The hot tub sealed the deal. Mahalo."

"Tradewinds cottage was perfect for our little family. The surroundings are stunning and the condo the perfect place to come back to after a long day of exploring gorgeous Hana. We miss it already and would love to return again. Thank you for such a lovely and private Hana home for our family to enjoy!"

"This is our top vacation destination. It’s our fifth stay. We love being able to cook our own meals in the well-furnished kitchen and then literally step outside to the beach. We could hear the waves from our bedroom. Sunrises are stunning. We saw sea turtles and seals on the beach. Host is very responsive and helpful. Snorkel gear is provided, and there’s often some nonperishable food in the pantry (coffee, oil, sugar, salt/pepper). We can’t wait to return."

"What a great place! We loved staying here after the busy tourist area on the other sidE of the island. A joy to wake up here. Adorable. Clean. Comfy. Nothing to change. Stay here!Note that food in town can run out at The food trucks by early evening and there’s only one restaurant. Limited grocery so next we will shop before arriving.food yea"

"Property was as described. Pool is shared pool with other tenants, but we rarely saw them and when we did everyone was so friendly! Property owners were kind and easy to reach and communicate with! Property was clean, comfortable, and suited our needs perfectly. Parking was tight, but doable! Would definitely stay here again. "

"Stay was simply wonderful! Turtles galore and Terries property is the sweetest of all the cottages! Terries sweet all day long as well. Seriously this stay will make you come back for more. "

"I stayed here with my family for my brother’s wedding and we had an absolutely wonderful time. This house is stunning and has such a welcoming feeling. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and so welcoming as well. We would love to stay here again! "

"Beautiful property with lots of fruit trees, natural scenery, sounds of peace and quiet. Hostess is amazing and would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Loved the outdoor kitchen and outdoor shower. If you’re near Hilo - stay here!"

"As advertised and more! It was a shame we didn't have time to thoroughly explore their beautiful grounds and giftshop. I told my wife about the highly rated vegetation cafe and she said, "well I'm not a vegetarian.". Then she tried the tiny fresh baked loaf of sweet bread they kindly left in the fridge(perfect after volcano viewing snack), Then when I asked "How about now?". She replied "I think I might be a vegetarian!". Delicious! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!"

"It was a nice quiet place to stay while I was getting a few things done at my house. The parking was right next to the yurt. The bathroom and sink are in another building. There was a microwave and fridge. The coffee was good. It was windy and the outer window coverings were really loud, so bring earplugs just in case. It was nice to see the stars while laying in bed. I would stay again."

"I would stay here again. McDonald’s is two small builds away, an ice shop in the corner, a massage, a motorcycle rental, a grill cheese shop that popping every day till closing time, a Japanese restaurant, Italian restaurant, just on your right in the corner, once you cross the street. On the left side of the build of Waikiki hotel, is a bar, ihop, and across the street ABC store and hula Mexican restaurant that’s okay but not the greatest. It’s a walking distance to many places beach, to shopping!"
