"We were celebrating our 55th Wedding Anniversary. I notified the Hotel months before and requested a high floor facing Diamond Head. Also mentioned our late arrival time. We had a 21st floor room facing D.H. and the Clerk (James) scheduled a surprise gift which was supposed to be placed in our room on Thursday, but didn't make it until Saturday , however it was a nice bottle of Champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, as well as several packages of local Hawaiian snacks. "Stayed here for Christmas 2024. The oceanfront rooms have an amazing ocean view and was one of the highlights of my trip. I would stay here again just for the view from the room. The location is also great, right next to all of the luxury brands and food options. The hotel itself was clean although on the older side. "It is a beautiful property. Many niceties. but I will highlight what kept us from rating this hotel a 5. The omelette bar had excessive wait times, enough that we skipped the omelette on some days. 20 to 30 minutes was not uncommon. There was an out of order signed on the icemaker right outside our door. Turns out every other floor was “out of order“. I think they just shut half of them down. Some inconvenience but no big deal. The rooms were very nice but a little dated."

"Great location, the pool area is perfect and the staff is awesome! Bathrooms are a bit dingy in the rooms and could use an update. Also the floors in the room felt kinda gross. All in all the stay was great and would consider coming back for sure!"

"Nice, clean updated room, property was spotless and great location. Only negative was the incredibly rude and irresponsible Heather at the concierge desk. Too bad she is there - everyone else was so pleasant. Would stay again but don’t book anything with the concierge- they only create problems. "
