Aira Boutique Hanoi Hotel & Spa

4.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (801)
"I spent six night at Aira Boutique, four before a Halong Bay cruise and two after. The first four nights were in one of the larger rooms, with a balcony at tree level above the main street. The last nights were in a regular sized room with a tiny balcony without much of a view. Both rooms were great. The staff is super friendly and helpful and they set up my Halong Bay tour at a time when lots of things were booked. I felt welcome and "seen." AC and Wifi worked great. Great shower too. ...

Golden Lotus Legend Hotel

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (11)
"My list is long for this hotel which changed names many times. It’s now called the Viet Hotel. The hotel pictures are false advertising. Here is the list of issues: 1. Lobby staff are not friendly and really don’t seem to care about client service. 2. The hotel dining room is so dirty 3. They had no water one evening so we could take a shower after a day of hiking and biking upon our return. They blamed it on a street repair but everyone around had water. 4. The safe was locked and we asked...

Camellia 4 Hotel

3.0 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (102)
"This hotel is somewhere I've stayed before. Usually sound & reliable. This time I booked & prepaid only to find, quite by chance, that they had effectively cancelled my booking WITHOUT FORMALLY TELLING ME so they could carry out a long term refurbishment. On the day of my supposed check-in the place was a building site. I'd had the foresight to rebook at another place so that at least I had somewhere to stay at the start of my 3 month visit to Hanoi. My task now is to get my money back from...

Oliving Residence

3.5 star property
4.0 out of 10, (2)

Essence d'Orient Hotel & Spa

3.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (221)
"Busy location but minimal noise disturbance at night - at least from the street...air con unit was very noisy and had limited effectiveness. Room comfortable for the most part - one narrow window with views of a all and rooftops mainly. Extremely helpful staff on reception - especially Johnny + Rick. Good breakfast and excellent restaurant staff."
