"This hotel is somewhere I've stayed before. Usually sound & reliable. This time I booked & prepaid only to find, quite by chance, that they had effectively cancelled my booking WITHOUT FORMALLY TELLING ME so they could carry out a long term refurbishment. On the day of my supposed check-in the place was a building site. I'd had the foresight to rebook at another place so that at least I had somewhere to stay at the start of my 3 month visit to Hanoi. "We arrived earlier than their check in time but they let us check in early anyway. The staff also helped to give us recommendations for places to eat and helped with directions, and they even gave us a deal when we bought a case of beer through them! Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful ad the facilities were great for the price of the stay!"
