"Wanted a hotel near the smallest pub in the world, the Dove, down the street. St. Pauls was comfortable, old school, with really nice people. The restaurant is a little weak, but hey, it is England. "Like sleeping in an ashtray. The room had clearly been smoked on and used by a smoker. I awoke with a sore throat each morning and could smell stale smoke constantly during my stay. I was telephoned had told to check in at another premises. Not too far away however I had a heavy bag and had already travelled a few hours. The advert shows a large breakfast offering. "I saw many horrible reviews for this property and was a bit skeptical of staying here. But it was actually really lovely. The rooms are small but it has everything you need. The bed is comfy the shower is nice. The tv has many channels. There is a fan, hair dryer, small complimentary toiletries, coffee making facilities and a mini fridge.
