"We stayed for two nights. The rooms were large, clean and had a map on the wall showing Captain Cook's voyages of discovery! The pub downstairs is also a tapas restaurant and the food is amazing. Try the pork belly bites for a taste experience! The unavoidable downsides are that the rooms were uo two steep flights of stairs and the bathroom is shared, so if you have mobility issues or want guaranteed privacy, this may not be the hotel for you. You can still eat the pork belly bites though! One...

"Checked in around 10pm, key left in a drop box in reception- no staff around at all. Booking was for a quadruple room - 1 double & 2 single beds. In reality room had only 2 single beds. None of the contact phone numbers given work so absolutely no chance of getting hold of anyone to sort the situation out. Absolutely disgraceful that 2 guests were left without beds & forced to sleep on the floor overnight. .. Surprise, surprise not able to contact the hotel for an explanation / refund...
